Job Description

As a detail-oriented and collaborative HR Business Partner, you will support FLINT’s operations and business units. This role is responsible for offering strategic HR guidance on various issues, ensuring alignment with company policies, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance the overall business environment.

What would you be doing?

  • Provide strategic HR support across employee relations, retention, engagement, succession planning, internal recruitment, and policy guidance.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate HR initiatives that align with organizational needs and business strategies.
  • Build strong internal relationships by offering expert advice and fostering collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Enhance HR operations by streamlining policies, improving program delivery, and developing training solutions in areas like leadership, performance, and career development.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects and cross-functional initiatives, while staying informed on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and adaptability skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly, work independently, and thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments.

  • Solid business acumen and a customer-focused approach to supporting internal client groups.

  • Educational background in Human Resource Management (Diploma or Degree), with a preference for candidates holding or pursuing a CPHR designation.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, ideally in industrial or oil and gas sectors, with deep knowledge of employment law, human rights, and OH&S across jurisdictions.

  • Proven experience in complex HR matters, including handling legal and employment standards complaints, and managing end-to-end investigations with final recommendations.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
