Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Develop and update comprehensive training programs for ramp operations, ground handling, and related safety procedures.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to incorporate changes in industry regulations, company policies, and operational procedures into training materials.
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead a team of ramp trainers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure consistent and effective training delivery.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for trainers and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Training Delivery:
- Conduct hands-on and classroom training sessions for ground personnel, focusing on safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize various training methods, including simulations, drills, and workshops, to enhance the skills and knowledge of ramp operations staff.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all training activities, including attendance, assessments, and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for training documentation.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to training content, methods, or materials as needed.
- Safety Compliance:
- Collaborate with the safety and compliance teams to integrate safety protocols and procedures into training programs.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations during training sessions and daily operations.
- Coordination with Operations:
- Work closely with the operations department to align training programs with current operational needs and challenges.
- Provide input on the development of operational policies and procedures based on training observations and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in aviation ground operations and training.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.
