Product Manager, Promotional Pricing Engine

What you'll do
We are seeking a technically proficient Product Manager to lead our Promotional Pricing Engine team. In this role, you will report into the AVP of Digital Products and will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap for our promotional pricing initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, merchandising and others, to ensure that our promotional pricing engine enhancements are delivered on time, on budget and aligned with CTC’s broader business goals.
In this role, you'll:
- Define and execute product roadmap with cross functional business partners.
- Translate high-level product requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and optimal implementation of features.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technical queries related to the features within your portfolio.
- Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate product performance and gather feedback from stakeholders to inform ongoing improvements.
- Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Act as a product lead to prioritize features, make decisions during sprints, and ensure that delivered work meets the defined acceptance criteria.
- Act as a product lead when addressing production issues for features within your portfolio.
- Coordinate and develop go-to-market strategies that support feature releases where necessary.
- Monitor key metrics to measure product success and inform future decision-making.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the squad to ensure technical alignment with product goals.
- Utilize tools such as Jira to track progress, manage backlogs, and Confluence to manage product artifacts.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to facilitate Agile processes.
- Analyze technical trade-offs and make informed decisions in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ensure robust documentation of technical requirements and user stories.
Data Analysis Responsibilities:
- Use data analytics tools to analyze product performance metrics.
- Generate insights from data to drive product decisions and optimizations.
- Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
What you bring
- 6-8 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management, particularly within a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Technical background is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
