About the role
As an indispensable member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in the growth and expansion of our company. You will have the opportunity to forge lasting relationships with our customers, gain a deep understanding of their needs, and offer them tailor-made solutions that will boost both their success and ours.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- You will design and implement innovative business development strategies to stimulate the growth of our brands & develop new markets.
- You will identify and evaluate new market opportunities, analyze their viability and recommend concrete actions.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and management.
- You will collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall corporate objectives.
- You will track market trends, monitor the competition and adjust strategies accordingly.
- You will report regularly to management on business development performance and progress.
- You will allocate one week per month to business trips, aimed at strengthening our professional relationships and expanding our customer base These trips will include activities such as attending trade shows, holding meetings with potential partners, presenting our services to new customers and seeking growth opportunities in new markets.
- You will assist the marketing team in developing sales strategies.
- You may be called upon to collaborate in product development

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in business development, ideally in the manufacturing sector
- Expertise in negotiation and creating strategic partnerships
- Ability to innovate and take bold initiatives to achieve exceptional results
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for pushing boundaries
- Valid driver's license
- Availability for business travel, mainly in Ontario and the United States
- Bilingualism (French/English) required, due to a predominantly English-speaking clientele
