Sr Financial Analyst
About the role
Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Services & Investments Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid) A growing investment management organization is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership while supporting financial reporting, planning & analysis, business expansion initiatives, and acquisition-related activities. This position is ideal for a CPA professional seeking broader exposure beyond traditional accounting and looking to contribute to a fast-growing, multi-entity environment.
🔹 What You'll Be Doing:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting activities
- Prepare management reports, financial analyses, and executive reporting packages
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and business performance analysis
- Analyze variances and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP
- Partner with external auditors and assist with audit requirements
- Help strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes
- Support acquisitions, entity integrations, and finance transformation initiatives
- Work with multiple business entities and contribute to ongoing growth projects
🔹 What We're Looking For: ✔ CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification ✔ 3–7 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, or Corporate Finance ✔ Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting ✔ Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP standards ✔ Experience within Financial Services, Investments, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or similar industries is preferred ✔ NetSuite experience is considered a strong asset ✔ Exposure to mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, or multi-entity reporting environments is advantageous
