About the role
Description
We are seeking a Municipal Infrastructure Engineer with a strong interest in the design and technical delivery of municipal and site development projects. You will be actively involved in all phases of projects, from design through construction. Working closely with the team, you will contribute to delivering sustainable, efficient, and well-designed infrastructure solutions.
Your Responsibilities

Design municipal and site development engineering works, including water distribution and sanitary sewer networks, stormwater management systems, earthworks, roadways, sidewalks, and other urban infrastructure;

Coordinate technical aspects of projects with other specialized disciplines;
-
Conduct engineering studies, calculations, and prepare technical reports;
-
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in compliance with applicable codes and standards;
-
Play a key role in overall project planning, including optimization of schedules and budgets;
-
Act as a technical resource to the Project Manager in the delivery and management of mandates;
-
Perform occasional site visits and provide office-based construction oversight;
-
Perform all other related tasks.
You are the right person for this position if:
- You hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- You are registered as an Engineer with the OIQ.
- You are familiar with the following software: MS OFFICE, CHAUSSÉE2, AUTOCAD, PC-SWMM, EPANET, and HEC-RAS (an asset).
- You hold a general health and safety certificate for construction sites (ASP).
- You hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car.
- You are proficient in French (oral and written).
- You have strong knowledge and skills in the following areas: road geotechnics and urban hydraulics.
- You have solid knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework in effect in Quebec regarding municipal infrastructure and the environment.
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
