We currently have an opening for a Engineering Co-op (Electrical or Mechanical), come grow with us!
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support with FEM Projects
- Participate in Model Preparation and Setup
- Assisting with creating or modifying models for simulation
- Running FEA simulations using software
- Contributing to data analysis and reporting
- Learning to interpret simulation results to identify stress concentrations, deformation, or thermal hotspots
- Coordination with manufacturing and test lab for testing and validation of prototypes for validation of simulations
- Assist with technical report preparation and presentations for engineering teams
- Working closely with senior engineers and mentors
- Participating in team meetings and design reviews
- Ensuring simulations and results are documented according to company standards
- Learning and applying relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, CSA)
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of electrical/mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with FEM an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technical applications
- Capable of performing engineering calculations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
