Preventative Maintenance Technician (Red Seal Millwright)

DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE
RATE: $52.69 PER HOUR
DESCRIPTION: This position integrates the core responsibilities of a Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician with advanced condition‑monitoring practices. The role involves performing routine lubrication tasks such as oiling and greasing, while also applying diagnostic technologies including ultrasound inspection, vibration analysis, and oil analysis. The primary focus is to enhance asset reliability, monitor equipment health, and support proactive maintenance strategies that reduce unplanned downtime.
Lubrication & PM Tasks: Ensuring proper oiling, greasing, and routine mechanical care, notification creation in SAP
Condition Monitoring: Using ultrasound, vibration tools, and fluid analysis to detect early signs of equipment degradation.
Asset Reliability: Identifying trends, reporting anomalies, and supporting long‑term reliability improvements.
Equipment Health Assessment: Tracking asset condition to guide maintenance planning and optimize equipment life cycles.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM:
- Grade 12
- Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification
