Position Overview

Our Avionics Apprentices support our Technicians with the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics systems in accordance with approved drawings, manuals, and company procedures. They assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, perform basic technical tasks, maintain shop equipment and inventory, and ensure accurate documentation.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Perform maintenance and installation of avionics systems in accordance with applicable drawings and manuals.

• Troubleshoot avionics systems to diagnose and perform adjustments, service, repairs and modifications according to SOPs.

• Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

• Demonstrate capability to understand and perform various technical functions associated to aircraft.

• Assist in the management of inventory.

• Assist in maintaining shop equipment.

• Be prepared to apply safe work practices with proper PPE.

• Support additional tasks and projects as required.

• Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.

• Graduation from a Transport Canada accredited Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Category 'E' program.

• Valid driver's license.
