Job Summary**:**

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Auto Detailer to join our team at Eagle Ridge GM. The Auto Detailer will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of both new and used vehicles. You will perform a variety of services including interior and exterior cleaning, ceramic coating applications, 3-stage polishing, and comprehensive detailing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for cars, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities**:**

• Exterior Detailing:

  • Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
  • Perform 3-stage polishing (compounding, polishing, finishing) to restore vehicle paint to a showroom-quality finish.
  • Apply ceramic coatings to protect vehicle surfaces from environmental damage and enhance the finish.
  • Clean and detail wheels, tires, trim, and chrome parts.

• Interior Detailing:

  • Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, and mats.
  • Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
  • Apply interior protectants and remove any stains, odors, or dirt from upholstery and surfaces.
  • Clean all interior glass and mirrors to ensure streak-free visibility.

• Inspection & Finishing:

  • Conduct final quality checks to ensure all detailing work is completed to dealership standards.
  • Identify any additional areas for improvement in vehicle appearance and take action accordingly.

• Customer Service:

  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner when necessary.
  • Provide feedback on vehicle conditions to the sales and service departments.

Qualifications**:**

• Experience:

  • Previous experience as an auto detailer in a dealership or detailing shop is preferred.
  • Experience with ceramic coatings and 3-stage polishing is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's licenses

• Skills:

  • Knowledge of detailing tools, equipment, and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
