**Is this you?**Looking for a casual part-time driving role with a consistent route in the Toronto and Buffalo area?
Private fleet in Scarborough, Ontario is seeking a professional AZ driver for part-time daily runs and shunting between our U.S., Canadian warehouses, plus some local Toronto-area deliveries. We offer a safe work environment, well-maintained late-model equipment, and a dedicated tractor.
Position Details:
- Flexible part-time schedule (flexible weekday shifts, with weekend availability as needed)
- Runs include loading at our manufacturing partners in the GTA and Ft. Erie, Ontario, with deliveries to our Toronto and U.S. facilities
- Paid hourly
- Supportive team environment with consistent routes
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have at least 3 years of AZ driving experience (manual & automatic, no restrictions)
- Comfortable driving a 13-speed manual transmission
- Eligible to cross into the U.S. (Passport or FAST card required)
- Familiar with border crossing and customs procedures
- Able to work 10-hour to 12-hour shifts with some flexibility on start times
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR, with no preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- Positive attitude and a team player
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Daily runs starting and ending in Scarborough, Ontario
- Local deliveries and pick-ups in the GTA, plus cross-border trips to Buffalo, NY
- Handling delivery paperwork and customs requirements as required by local, Provincial, State, Federal and International Transportation regulations.
- Check vehicle condition daily and arrange maintenance when needed.
- Staying in touch with our Operations Manager and the Logistics team about schedules and deliveries
- Driving safely and keeping up with company standards
- Pitching in with scheduling and planning when required
**What You’ll Bring…**Experience: Several years of safe, long-distance accident-free AZ truck driving, with solid knowledge of customs and duty procedures for Canada/U.S. crossings.
Licensing & Passport: Valid Ontario Class AZ license with a clean driving record, plus a valid Canadian Passport or FAST card for cross-border trips from Toronto, Ontario (Canada) to Buffalo, New York (USA).
Work Style & Communication: Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines; strong communication skills to coordinate with the Logistics team.
