What is the opportunity?
The “CM technology Risks and Controls” role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and work with risk management professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. The position will ensure risk management reporting practices are completed on time to contribute to better decision-making, proactive risk mitigation, and ultimately, improved risk postures within the Capital Markets Technology Platform.
What will you do?
Lead role to monitor, evaluate and report on risk across IT Capital Markets platform including:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive risk reports, including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), to enable informed decision-making by the Operating Committee and Management.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to monitor and address risk management issues, ensuring remediation plans are effective and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Perform controls testing to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Result driven professional with 5 to 7 years within Information Technology Audit (Internal or External Auditor), Information Technology Risk Management, or in a regulatory capacity.
- Solid knowledge of IT General Computing Controls and Application Controls.
- Advanced proficiency in using tableau, Excel and PowerPoint to work with formulas, data analysis and creating visualizations for management reporting.
- Experience in design, execution and reporting of Key risk indicators (KRI).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with management.
- Accredited certification / designation such as CISA / CISSP / CIA / CRISC or similar.
Nice-to-have
- Capital Markets risk platform experience.
- Experience in working with IT personnel to identify and remediate risk gaps.
- Ability to explain controls, risks and gaps to both technical and non-technical audiences, including engaging with vendors and internal teams.
- Experience in working closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and adhere to internal policies.
