This role is accountable to enhance critical initiatives for the DSM program offerings (Residential, Commercial. Industrial etc.) to improve results. This includes leadership of the annual strategic program planning process as well as third party relationships for potential teamwork opportunities.

What You Will Do

Own the development of the annual program planning process, studies conducted by external vendors, leading third party relationships (i.e. collaboration with the IESO) and implementation of the 2022 – 2027 DSM Plan

Establish and improve processes with external teams and identify potential efficiencies within team
-
Develop and manage strategic relationships with key vendors and suppliers, which includes:
- Evaluate potential vendors and assist in the selection and onboarding process
- Negotiate terms, pricing, service levels, and contracts to ensure optimal value and risk management
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance using KPIs, and other performance metrics

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand vendor needs and ensure alignment with business objectives

Identify and facilitate material changes to program offerings, project management requirements, tracking requirements, scenario planning and opportunities to mitigate risk proactively

Partnership opportunities with external partners and associated implementation requirements (such as IESO, Government), pivotal initiatives with internal teams

Lead ongoing engagement with key internal partner teams including DSM Strategy/Policy, DSM Tracking & Reporting, DSM Evaluation and Audit and Technology teams to identify audit / regulatory risks and mitigation plans, as well as prioritization and optimization for technical requirements of DSM offerings

Lead for identifying and prioritizing potential new offering pilots and securing internal approvals

Recognize requirements of Market Research and Business Intelligence to gain insights to support planning, program development, monitoring and evaluation
Who You Are
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
- 5+ years proven experience, preferably in energy conservation marketing/program design, including project management and business development
- Outstanding project management and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities; including organizational change and the ability to influence without authority
- Strategic problem solver; ability to make decisions and act within an evolving market.
