Position: Seasonal Park Patrol Resort Name: Wasaga Dunes Resort Address: 4300 Crossland Road Tiny, ON L0L 2T0 Hourly Rate: $22/hour Job Duration: May 8 - October 25, 2026 Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 40 hrs/week This job posting is for a newly created role within our organization. Reporting to the Resort Manager, this role is responsible for after hours minor maintenance duties (e.g. cleaning, minor repairs to resort infrastructure as needed, equipment maintenance, etc.), customer service inquiries and responding to after hours customer complaints.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in an after-hours (overnight) work environment. The role requires someone with strong communication and customer service skills as well as experience with maintenance operations in a tourism setting (preferred). What you bring to the table… .

  • You have solid customer service and/or maintenance experience in the hospitality, property management, security or police services, or hotel industry.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, and can communicate well even in challenging situations
  • You have experience working in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You are willing/able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
  • You are available to work flexible work hours (this is an “after hours” position).
  • You have an ability to work with limited supervision.
  • You like learning new things and developing new skills
  • You have an ability to work with a team or independently.
  • You thrive on solving problems, meeting challenges and providing great customer service
  • You are great at seeing both sides of an issue and finding middle ground

What You Will Be Doing… Customer Relations

  • Monitoring and controlling access to all facilities in the park.
  • Welcoming guests and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Patrolling the property to ensure that guidelines and property standards are being followed
  • Report any problems or safety hazards to the Resort Manager and / or authorities.
  • Safely operate RTV, golf carts or other vehicles in order to efficiently monitor occupied campsites and common areas.
  • Responding to customer concerns, complaints and queries.

Maintenance / Cleaning

  • Performing minor maintenance duties including resetting breakers, minor repairs and upkeep
  • Ensuring washrooms, grounds and common areas are kept up to standard: this includes, unplugging toilets, pickup and depositing garbage into dumpsters, close pools and initiate pool robots and other related duties
  • Assist in monitoring levels of supplies needed (washroom & cleaning supplies) and communicate supply needs to Resort Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned
