**Position Title:**Process Engineer Grand Falls Contract

Purpose: To support planning and execution of maintenance and infrastructure improvement projects, including shutdown and contractor management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and T****raining requirements.

• Must be an engineering or project management student.
• The Engineering Manager is responsible of providing training, as needed.

• Attend Safety Talks
• Follow and promote Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Follow and promote HACCP Food Safety Procedures
• Follow and promote McCain Environmental programs
• Work safe and promote a safe working environment to all employees. Ensure Lockout & Tag-Out procedures and all McCain Safety Policies are followed. Recognize safety hazards and correct them. Verify employee Job Safety Plans (hazard analysis at job site)

Job responsibilities:

• Help plan and schedule plant shutdown work for contractors based on priority and resources availability.
• Add capital project work to shutdown Gantt charts.
• Coordinate project kick off meetings with contractors and consulting firms to align on safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, project scope, and schedule. Communicate highlights to plant team (for any impact on parallel maintenance work in the same areas).
• Conduct site orientation with contractors for the annual extended shutdown.
• Oversee project execution for adherence to safety policies, job hazard analysis requirements and job site housekeeping.
• Communicate project progress and challenges to Engineering Manager.
• Submit a capital funding request for a future project.

Compensation Package*: $42,300.00 - $56,500.00* . CAD annual base salary equivalency, paid in alignment to contract term

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
