Travel Analyst Location: Calgary, AB Type: Contract Duration: One year with potential of extension Rate of Pay: $38/hr
Introduction:
Brunel is currently seeking a Travel Analyst who will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing corporate travel operations for field-based staff. This individual will manage a wide range of travel logistics, including air and ground transportation, while ensuring seamless scheduling, cost efficiency, and adherence to company standards. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, travelers, and external vendors, and delivering high-quality, customer-focused travel solutions that support safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of air and ground transportation for staff traveling to and from field locations, including scheduled corporate flights, ad-hoc charter aircraft and bus services Manages travel reservations, supports irregular operations, arranges site tour logistics, and optimizes the utilization of company corporate aircraft fleet and other charter carriers through scheduling and utilization tracking Works in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and serves as a key point of contact for travelers, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with travel standards, preferred supplier agreements, and safety standards Acts as a technology-driven, customer-focused professional with strong interpersonal and organizational skills Manages multiple email boxes and provides exceptional service to internal and external clients Supports continuous process improvement initiatives Collaborates with transportation providers and business partners to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective travel solutions that align with company operational and corporate objectives
Qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma in travel or related field is an asset Advanced Excel and Word skills including experience with database systems Organized and keen attention to detail which includes the ability to maintain a large volume of information accurately, in a format which can be adjusted to meet changing reporting requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment which includes but not limited to flight schedule change and managing a large volume of emails and calls daily Knowledge of Innfinity (Enroute), or Logistics and/or Reservations booking system is an asset Strong interpersonal skills with proven success at building constructive working relationships with internal and external clients and vendors Aviation and Transportation expertise and knowledge Ability to manage confidential information professionally and with discretion
