Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (“CAO”), the Manager of Bylaw and Development Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for a broad portfolio of community-focused services. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Manager plays a key role in shaping land use and development within the community. Further, this role is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of policies and procedures related to planning, land use, and bylaw enforcement for the District. The Manager leads and supports a strong team including the Building Inspector, Bylaw Officer / Interdepartmental Clerk, and Planning Technician / Clerk to ensure the effective delivery of planning, development, and bylaw services in alignment with the District’s objectives and regulatory requirements. This position also holds the statutory responsibility of being the Approving Officer for the District.

The annual salary for this position is dependant on qualifications and experience, but is anticipated to be in the $80,000 - $100,000 range.
