About Our Client: A leading global organization specializing in enterprise information management and digital transformation solutions, supporting customers across various industries with innovative and scalable technologies About This Opportunity: On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Billing Representative to join the Billing Operations team. This role plays a critical part in delivering excellence across the Order-to-Cash function, with a strong focus on third-party billing portals and payment processes (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, etc.). You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting complex billing activities, driving process improvements, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position requires a strong mix of billing expertise, portal infrastructure knowledge, stakeholder collaboration, and process automation mindset.

What You’ll Do: Manage customer requests related to billing portals, including vendor onboarding, portal setup, and trading relationships Refine and document end-to-end portal processes and identify efficiency opportunities Partner with IT and internal teams to drive system enhancements and automation initiatives Collaborate with Legal, Deal Desk, GIS, Finance, Sales, and Collections to maintain accurate billing records Resolve portal-related escalations and ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements Support billing and collection issue resolution, including account reconciliations Ensure adherence to internal controls, invoicing policies, and compliance standards Act as SME on acquisition integrations and billing transformation initiatives Support month-end and quarter-end deliverables under tight financial timelines Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and support training initiatives

What You Bring: Minimum 3+ years of experience in billing operations, preferably in software, SaaS, or high-tech environments Strong hands-on experience with third-party billing portals such as: SAP Ariba Tungsten Coupa Taulia GEP (or similar platforms)

Advanced reporting and analytical skills, including: Excel (advanced), Macros Power BI MS Access / database tools Deep knowledge of invoicing, collections, and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes Strong understanding of contractual billing impacts and commercial terms Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Experience in process improvement, automation initiatives, and change management Ability to manage complex workloads independently under tight deadlines

Nice to Have: Experience supporting global billing operations Exposure to Professional Services, Cloud, and Software Licensing billing models Prior experience in integration-heavy environments Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
