Working with community organizations that serve seniors and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Student Research Assistant(s) will complete required training, attend virtual meetings, collect and manage data to support project goals, prepare information, work on-site with seniors and community partners to assist with project activities at rural sites and virtually. Responsibilities may include preparing meeting minutes, reports, and presentations, as well as implementing projects activities and collecting data.
Under the supervision of a Research Chair in the Centre for Health Research, Innovation, and Scholarship (CHRIS) at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Student Research Assistant(s) will support the project’s collective impact outcomes, including addressing rural seniors’ experiences of loneliness and fostering community through hub programs.
