Lab Technician – Full-Time (Days)
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lab Technician to join our team. This is a full-time daytime position and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Edging and tinting ophthalmic lenses (training provided)
- Operating equipment used for lens edging and tinting
- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ordering and monitoring lab supplies, including dyes, lens pads, and other materials
- Answering telephone inquiries as required
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work area
- Assisting with general lab duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous optical or laboratory experience is an asset, but not required

IRIS is constantly expanding in the Canadian market.
