As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support critical financial services operations. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Technology team, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation and modernization across securities lending and repo platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and development of robust architecture using Unix Scripts, Python, Oracle, Kafka, and Snowflake.
- Integrate Spring Boot applications with Oracle WebLogic JMS to ensure seamless communication and data flow.
- Analyze and optimize systems within the Securities Lending and Repo domain to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. What you need to have to be considered
- Banking and Financial Services knowledge, especially in Securities Services, Repo & Lending.
- 14–18 years of experience in software architecture and development.
- Experience designing and developing scalable software solutions using Unix Scripts, Python, Oracle, Kafka, and Snowflake.
- Strong Core Java development skills, leveraging the Spring Framework.
- Proficiency in JSON and XML for data interchange and transformation.
- Experience integrating Spring Boot applications with Oracle WebLogic JMS.
- Familiarity with GIT for version control and collaboration.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough code reviews and testing.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing systems in the Securities Lending and Repo domain.
