Job Description

AIMis presently looking for aGeneral Labourerat itsMontréal‑Eastsite, with a work schedule fromTuesday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m..Under the supervision of the Supervisor, you will perform various tasks in rotation with your teammates to support daily operations.

Your responsibilities include :

• Sorting different types ofmetals based on their characteristics.

• Inspecting customer metals,identifying the appropriate metal typeandverifying quality.

• Weighing metals using thescale.

• Operating various types ofequipment as required(e.g. forklift, loader, Bobcat).

• Actively participating in thedaily activities of the department.

• Maintaining thecleanliness of equipment, work areas, and your workstationto ensure smooth operations.

• Working in asafe mannerand complying withhealth and safety policiesas well as company procedures.

• Performingany other related tasksrequired to support operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate aprofessional and safety‑focused attitudeand strictly followhealth and safety guidelines.

• Be ingood physical conditionand comfortable performingrepetitive tasks, such as sorting metals on tables or on the ground.

• Showversatility,resourcefulness, and awillingness to learn.

• Be able to wear the requiredpersonal protective equipment (PPE)(mask, ear protection, safety glasses, helmet, coveralls).

Work Environment :

• Willingness to work in adusty and noisy industrial environment, sometimes outdoors and exposed tovarying temperatures. -Physically demanding tasks.
