Location: This is a Field Position - working just outside of Fox Creek, AB.

Position: Full-Time Permanent

Schedule: Site Rotation 22/6

  • LOA $175.00/day for non locals

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Project Coordinator plays an important role in the successful execution of projects, working alongside the Construction Management team in the office. Key areas of focus include time entry and work ticket creation, maintaining logs, generating daily and weekly reports, and supporting the construction management team in other areas as required.

POSITION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide support to the Construction Management Team
  • Enter labor/equipment/materials costs into Viewpoint Field Management software
  • Create daily work tickets and oversee ticket approval process
  • Collect and prepare daily reports including safety reports, sign in sheets, daily cost summaries and forecasts, force reports, equipment and fuel usage logs
  • Provide project support including preparation of purchase order requests, material requisitions and orders, progress reports, manpower loading schedules
  • Coordinate site logistics such as camp/accommodations, site orientations, equipment rentals and returns
  • Support corporate support services including Accounts Payable and Project Services
  • Review and understand project scope of work and work breakdown structure
  • Assist with compiling 3rd Party Tickets and client progress reporting, working in conjunction with the Project Coordinator team
  • Support field safety staff with tracking of stats and filing of documents
  • Provide administrative support as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Project Coordinator / Field Administrator role
  • Previous experience in oil and gas construction
  • Must be willing to work shift work / weekends - shifts vary by project - day shifts only
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with confidence
  • Self-directed, able to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player
  • High degree of competence, reliability and judgment demonstrated in all aspects of work
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with G-Suite an asset
  • Intermediate spreadsheet skills required
  • Previous experience with Vista by Viewpoint an asset
