About the role

Some of what you will do:

The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Planning & Continuous Improvement is responsible for leading enterprise planning cadences, commercialization readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Merchandising organization. The role serves as a key connector across Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Pricing, Digital, Finance, IT, and Store Operations teams to ensure enterprise priorities, promotional activities, and strategic initiatives are translated into executable plans with strong operational alignment and execution of readiness. This role is responsible for driving enterprise planning processes for key retail events, seasonal campaigns, promotional periods, and strategic initiatives across both B2C and B2B businesses while improving execution consistency, speed to market, operational governance, and cross-functional collaboration.is a strong connector across Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, FP&A and Operations teams.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Own enterprise planning cadences and commercialization calendars across B2C and B2B businesses.

  • Translate merchandising and enterprise strategies into executable plans for key retail events including BTS, Q4, Tech Madness, and Big Chair.

  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Pricing, Digital, Finance, IT, and Store Operations.

  • Drive post-mortems and continuous improvement initiatives to improve future planning cycles and execution readiness.

  • Identify market share gaps, category opportunities, and operational whitespace opportunities with merchandising teams.

  • Own merchandising operational readiness including UAT, pre-sale validation, testing coordination, and release readiness.

  • Drive system enhancements, operational process improvements, and scalable operating models to improve speed to market and execution consistency.

  • Support onboarding, training, and capability development for merchandising systems, processes, and operational workflows.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment

  • Light domestic travel < 10%

Some of what you need:

  • Post secondary education, preferably in Business Administration

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive merchandising experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and individuals by way of training programs, both formal and informal, preference given to merchandise specific background.

  • 3-5 years experience in environmental programs required or a working knowledge of merchandise environmental standards and requirements.

  • 3-5 years previous management experience.

  • Expert level knowledge of excel and access

  • Basic understanding of SQL statements an asset.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt language and presentation to suit the needs of the receiver.

  • Sound understanding of merchandising terminology such as driving sales, PSI, inventory management and OOS
