About the role

Parts Manager / Shipper & Receiver Location: North Bay, Ontario Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and organized Parts Manager / Shipper & Receiver to manage the daily shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of automotive parts for our dealership. The successful candidate will work closely with our head office, suppliers, and service department to ensure parts are received, inspected, documented, organized, and available to support daily operations. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of automotive parts, materials, and supplies against packing slips, invoices, and shipping documents. Record incoming and outgoing shipments using computerized record-keeping systems. Label, organize, and maintain parts inventory within designated storage areas. Prepare, package, and arrange shipments of parts to suppliers, other company locations, and service providers as required. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers, suppliers, and the company's head office. Load and unload parts and materials safely using appropriate equipment. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments and assist in resolving discrepancies. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Distribute parts promptly to technicians and other departments. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the head office. Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock verification. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts and shipping area. Follow company policies and workplace health and safety procedures. Qualifications Experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or the automotive industry is considered an asset. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and experience maintaining electronic records. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence is an asset.
