Job Description

Security Site Manager

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to lead security operations at a prestigious luxury retail shopping centre in Vancouver.

This is a high-profile leadership role requiring a confident, professional, and hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will lead a large security team, build strong client relationships, oversee daily operations, and ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

This is an active leadership position—you will be visible on site, support your team, respond to operational challenges, and play a key role in driving performance and accountability.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9h00-17h00

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day security operations of a major luxury retail property. Manage, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and security professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, property management, retailers, and key stakeholders. Oversee incident response, investigations, emergency situations, and operational issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, contractual requirements, and performance standards. Review reports, identify operational improvements, and implement best practices. Support emergency planning, training initiatives, and ongoing team development. Be available to respond to after-hours emergencies when required.

What We're Looking For

2–3+ years of experience in a Security Site Manager, Security Operations Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar leadership role. Proven experience leading large security teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Strong operational leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities. Experience conducting investigations, managing incidents, and responding to emergencies. Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and security technology. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and incident reporting systems. A polished, professional presence with the ability to build trust and maintain strong client relationships. Experience in luxury retail, commercial property, shopping centre, or hospitality security is considered a strong asset. Valid BC Security Worker Licence required. OFA Level 2 and AST certifications are required or must be obtained.
