Duties:
Advise and help under some supervision in the labs for Core Math and other relevant duties as assigned.
Course # positions Expected hours per lab assistant
62:091 Core Math 1 1 hour per week (total: up to 11 hours)
62:091 Core Math 1 2 hour per week (total: up to 26 hours)
Qualifications/Experience:
- Students must be in at least second year of undergraduate study
- Preference given to current BU students
- Grade A or above in course applying for assisting
- Background in advanced math courses is an asset
- Previous experience preferred
- Ability to help students courteously with patience and enthusiasm
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable
