Summary of responsibilities:

The Advisor, Program Delivery is responsible for providing operational subject matter expertise, advice and support for the delivery of CATSA’s primary screening activities and associated programs. The Advisor, Program Delivery performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, Commerce, Humanities or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position;
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in supporting project or program implementation;
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience liaising with various stakeholders, analyzing information, writing reports, briefings notes and plans, and making recommendations to senior management;
  • Experience working in databases and identifying system process improvements;
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong research and analytical skills; ability to provide recommendations;

  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Valuable skills include:

  • Experience participating in multi-disciplinary project teams;
  • Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation affecting CATSA;
  • Knowledge of aviation security screening processes. ;
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and aviation security issues;
  • Experience working with databases or Project Server.

Specific work requirements:

  • Language Profile: BBBB;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
