Pay Range: $75,691 - $95,521

Work Location : This role is eligible for hybrid – this means you’ll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office (in Regina), on a scheduled rotation once probation requirements have been met. Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

We are seeking a Senior Underwriter (PL Mono) - Property to play a key leadership role within our underwriting team. This position is responsible for underwriting complex, high-value personal property risks while providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior underwriting staff.
As a senior technical expert, you will work closely with brokers and internal partners to deliver a strong customer experience, drive profitable growth, and continuously enhance underwriting practices across the personal property portfolio.
This opportunity is best suited for an underwriting professional with demonstrated property underwriting experience, who brings a proactive mindset, enjoys tackling complex risks, and values collaboration while supporting both broker relationships and team success.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have demonstrated experience underwriting Personal Lines Property, including complex or high-value risks.
- Enjoy analyzing risk, solving problems, and making sound, data‑driven underwriting decisions.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with brokers and internal partners.
- Take a proactive approach to your work and are comfortable providing guidance and mentorship to others.
- Value quality, consistency, and continuous improvement in underwriting practices and portfolio performance.
Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in Business or defined equivalency . Candidates should have 5 – 7 years in underwriting.
