About The Job We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Compliance Engineer to lead product certification and compliance activities for our next-generation broadband power line solutions. In this role, you will oversee European and North American certification programs (CE, FCC, UL, etc.), manage testing with external labs, and provide technical expertise on regulatory processes. You will work closely with R&D and hardware engineering teams to validate product designs, develop and execute test plans, and ensure quality control from the design phase through final production. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to drive compliance initiatives that support innovation and global market readiness.

Corinex is hiring range for this role is CAD $100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and conduct European and North American product certification programs, analysis and activities providing detailed regulatory process and technical expertise
  • Participate in next generation broadband power line product certifications and R&D projects to validate the technology and discover of defects.
  • Conduct compliance research and studies to support on-going product compliant
  • Planning and scheduling with test labs to ensure the test environment is ready on time
  • Work with test lab to conduct product certification testing on various compliance testing standards including CE, FCC, UL etc.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and report to internal teams
  • Be responsible for developing test plans and defining test cases and then validating products with proper test procedures based on the defined test requirement. Have ownership of quality control of the product from the design phase to final production.
  • Work with the HW engineering team to verify the design of products and conduct a practical approach to validate the quality of products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in product compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering (CE, FCC, UL, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of European and North American product certification processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience working with test laboratories, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating product certification activities.
  • Solid understanding of compliance testing methodologies and the ability to develop test plans, define test cases, and validate products.
  • Experience troubleshooting test failures and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes from product design through to final production.
  • Practical experience working with hardware engineering teams to validate product designs and ensure compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly convey compliance requirements and test results.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
