Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Plumbing Foremen to support our commercial

and project-based mechanical operations. This role involves leadership on job sites, overseeing plumbing installations and retrofits, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Work can include leading teams in remote northern projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise plumbing crews on-site, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
  • Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, plumbing fixtures, and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Perform hydronic system retrofits (boilers, pumps), chiller and heat pump replacements, and air handler installations.
  • Size and install natural gas distribution systems per code.
  • Coordinate work with subcontractors, consultants, and other trades.
  • Enforce and maintain safety protocols and company policies.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Certification in Plumbing or Steamfitting.

  • Valid Gas B Ticket (minimum requirement).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Foreman or supervisory role.

  • Proven experience managing prime contractor projects and working with multiple trades.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industry standards, and local codes.

  • Valid AB Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to manage and mentor journeypersons and apprentices.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment as required.

  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

  • Willing to work shifts in remote locations
