We’re seeking a Manager, Branch and Regional Marketing who is passionate about marketing and understands how local storytelling can drive brand affinity.
Working closely with RBC’s eight regional office teams and other communications and marketing groups across RBC, the successful candidate will bridge national brand narratives with local relevance that brings the full picture of RBC to our communities through strategic storytelling, content marketing and social media tactics.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with regional teams on the development and amplification of regionally-focused content across multiple channels to support enterprise strategies, brand affinity and consideration.
- Execute projects pertaining to regional content and social media marketing platforms and channels, integrating with other teams’ content strategies and plans.
- Work with third-party PR agency to develop and implement content marketing plans that support regional sustainability & impact and sponsorship-related partnerships, aligning with national narratives.
- Stay abreast of authentic content trends and formats to inspire regional marketing and position RBC in a positive light.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Degree or diploma in related field.
- 4-5 years of communications and/or content marketing experience.
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with attention to clarity, tone, and detail.
- Strong project management, organizational and self-management skills, and the ability to manage simultaneous projects.
- In-depth understanding of content marketing and social media trends, formats and channels.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted working relationships with numerous stakeholders.
- Curiosity to test and measure new ideas.
Nice to have:
- University degree with a Marketing and/or Communications orientation.
- French language capabilities are an asset.
- FI experience and/or experience in large matrix organizations are an asset.
- Previous agency and/or regional marketing experience.
- SEO/digital analytics skills.
