Position Overview:

As a Training & Competency Advisor, you’ll coordinate training programs, administer learning systems, and support competency development across the organization.

For this position, the expected base salary range is between $50,000 and $65,000 annually. We also offer additional incentives such as an annual bonus and premium for certain shifts.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with front-line employees and leaders to support development planning and enroll individuals in targeted training and learning programs that align with business needs and personal growth goals.
  • Administer and maintain training records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Configure LMS content, monitor performance, and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track compliance and competency metrics.
  • Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and digital training sessions.
  • Liaise with third-party training providers and manage external training costs.
  • Ensure documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify training needs and competency gaps.
  • Monitor training outcomes and provide follow-up support to reinforce learning.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Update LMS content and assign training modules.
  • Schedule training sessions and manage participant registration.
  • Prepare and distribute training materials with subject matter experts.
  • Track training completions and compliance metrics using reporting tools.
  • Respond to learner inquiries and resolve system issues promptly.
  • Maintain training calendars and documentation for audits.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to improve learning accessibility.
  • Follow up on training effectiveness and share improvement insights.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with LMS administration, training coordination, and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and tools like Power BI for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements for training.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external providers.
  • Professional certifications in education or adult learning are an asset.

  • Permanent, full-time role.
  • Monday – Friday, 5x2 shift.
