We are seeking a highly motivated Building Operator to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to maintain high standards of tenant service and property upkeep within our high-rise building. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership skills and make decisions across all aspects of building operations, maintenance, and customer service.

Responsibilities
Perform meter readings, daily boiler checks, water treatment, and oversee building operations via the building automation system.
Program, schedule, and command equipment through the building automation system.
Conduct maintenance on all mechanical equipment, including monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative tasks.
Complete minor plumbing and mechanical repairs on base building equipment.
Monitor the building automation system to ensure tenant comfort and optimal system efficiency.
Coordinate and manage third-party contractors for projects and repairs as needed.
Participate in cross-training with other buildings as required.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of industry experience, with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Minimum 5th Class Power Engineering certification is required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a 4th Class Power Engineer certificate.
Minimum high school diploma.
Experience with HVAC systems, preventative maintenance, and fire & life safety systems.
Familiarity with building automation systems such as Trane, Delta Controls, or JCI Metasys.
Knowledge of building systems and controls, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, and DDC automation systems is an asset.
