Digital is key in the growth of the Petro-Canada business. As the Digital Products team, we navigate the digital landscape and propel the retail and wholesale business forward with innovation, efficiency, and strategic expertise.

Come be a part of the Digital Implementation team; in the role of a Learning Advisor, you’ll help build immersive on-site and online experiences to engage and empower Petro-Canada stakeholders through their change journey.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7 years experience and deep knowledge with Adult Learning and Instructional Design
- Experience in ERP implementation or using back-office systems and/or processes
- Finance and/or SCM experience in ERP Dynamics D365, SAP, etc.
- Post-secondary education (business, marketing, sales is preferred) or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in designing, curating, and rolling out on-demand digital learning strategies specifically catered to digital product and sales teams
- Experience with learning needs and performance gap analysis, instructional design, development and implementation, as well as assessment/evaluation of learning
- Strong Project Management skills – ability to plan out complex projects with understanding of key milestones, decision points, move projects forward, influence decisions, and managing budgets (up to several million annually)
Responsibilities:
- Leverage technology to develop, deliver and maintain an effective and efficient learning solution for Digital Products
- Assess application and training readiness for Digital Products solutions
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the product teams to develop program content and/or project strategy
- Support the development and execution of project plans, including drafting communications and coordinating the translation process
- Work with external vendors to identify training needs and develop training materials
- Consult and build commitment around recommended learning solutions aligned to business needs
- Work closely with Digital Business Readiness Advisors and business stakeholders to meet project deliverables and deadlines
- Oversee, organize, and deliver knowledge transfer sessions
- Collaborate with the business to ensure there is a consistent approach to training requests to further drive efficiencies and best practices
Location and other Key Details:
- This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs.
- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work.
