DEFSEC Technologies develops next-generation solutions that deliver a tactical advantage for military personnel, first responders, and personal use. The company organizes its operations into three core business lines: Less-Lethal, Digitization, and Counter-Threat.

Less-Lethal: This portfolio includes the PARA SHOT™ and ARWEN® product families, which provide capabilities for self-defense, public safety, and realistic training. These products, ranging from low-energy cartridges and specialized projectiles to launcher systems, offer reliable and effective options for graduated response and protection.

Digitization: Long-term government subcontracts providing services to enhance mission readiness and situational awareness for military forces through task-order based software solutions. DEFSEC also digitizes the tactical edge with Lightning™, a cloud-based, military-grade system built on Team Awareness Kit (TAK). The platforms' instant onboarding and zero hardware requirements enable seamless deployment and enhanced coordination, ensuring secure, real-time intelligence when it matters most.

Counter-Threat: DEFSEC addresses emerging operational risks, including weaponized laser systems. Its TAK-integrated Battlespace Laser Identification Sensor System (BLISS™) detects laser activity and enhances situational awareness and force protection in contested environments. It is designed to counter the growing threat of weaponized lasers against personnel and vehicles.

Headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, DEFSEC focuses on delivering operationally relevant capability through disciplined engineering and applied innovation.
