The Marketing Coordinator – Campaign Coordinator will play an essential role in developing, planning, and coordinating the Nisa Foundation’s major awareness and fundraising campaigns. This position supports campaign strategy, content creation, project coordination, and reporting, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals. This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, nonprofit outreach, and campaign management who want hands-on experience in coordinating multi-channel marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Coordination
Lead the planning, coordination, and preparation of two major marketing campaigns: Back to School and 16 Days of Activism . Develop campaign timelines, briefs, and content calendars to support major organizational initiatives. Coordinate with graphic designers and content creators to ensuretimelydelivery of campaign assets. Track campaign milestones, deliverables, and internal workflows to ensure smooth execution.
Content Creation
Draft content for landing pages, email newsletters, social media posts, paid ads, and blog articles. Ensure copy is aligned with campaign goals, brand guidelines, and audience needs. Support content collection, including photos, stories, and testimonials when needed.
Reporting & Internal Systems
Create andmaintaintrackers tomonitorcampaign progress and performance. Prepare weekly status updates for the marketing team. Support continuous improvement of internal campaign planning and reporting processes.
Education/Qualification
Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, digital media, public relations, or a related program. Strong writing and editing skills, with experience drafting web and social content. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, content creators, and cross-functional teams. Creative thinking and attention to detail. Familiarity with digital content platforms, social media tools, and Google Workspace is an asset. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take initiative. Creative mindset with the ability to craft compelling and culturally resonant messaging.
Eligibility
This position is part of the Canadian government’s summer job program.
Candidatemust be legally eligible to work in Canada(Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or a protected person within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.Able to provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN). Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canadain accordance withrelevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
