This transformation is designed to modernize core business functions, enhance operational efficiency, and unlock enterprise-wide value through coordinated design, governance, and execution. A key enabler will be the selection and implementation of a new cross functional ERP system.
Focus Areas of the program include:
- Integrated enterprise planning and reporting across Finance, HR, Procurement and IT

- Full digital procurement (source-to-pay) in one platform
- Linked IT/project budgets, actuals, time, and ERP for full visibility
- Unified Travel & Expense processing with integrated booking, submission, and approval

The role of the Principal is to plan, execute, and finalize multiple phases of work. These phases are effectively cross-functional business projects, supporting the broader program, ranging in complexity which contribute to achieving the strategy of the enterprise. The first phase will be to provide project management support on a large technology RFP. This role will support executive sponsors in strategy development, problem solving and building-out the governance for initiatives, planning for and acquiring resources (including subject matter experts, contractors, consultants, service delivery partners, third party vendors) and coordinating the efforts of team members and resources in order to deliver projects according to plan and expectations.
To be successful in this role, the individual will need a blend of corporate functions knowledge, strong program and project management skills, technical understanding, and preferably previous experience with Enterprise Resource Platform systems. The role will require collaboration with both business sponsors/leads and IT groups to ensure that the objectives and workstreams align with requirements, risks are mitigated, defined outcomes are achieved, and benefits are realized.
This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager looking to lead strategic, transformational projects and drive organizational success.
What you will be doing:
- Program Management: Supporting the Business Lead(s) and Technology Lead(s) to define the project vision, communicate outcomes, log decisions and rationale, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Guide the delivery team and related stakeholders to achieve quarterly and annual outcomes. Coordinate team actions and manage team member transitions.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with key stakeholders, including subject matter expert teams, IT groups and external vendor/system integrators. Ensure overall project health, including risk management, invoice validation, timesheet processing, and steering committee preparation.
- Resource Management: Planning and co-ordination with project resources, proactively manage project costs within Planview, provide forecasts, and present variances with narratives at review points.
- Planning and Execution: Ability to develop detailed project plans, manage timelines and ensure project milestones are met. Ensuring activities are identified, organized, and resourced to meet project objectives. Turning the project plan into Epics and Features within Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
- Risk Management: Identify, manage, assess, escalate and assist with mitigation of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints. Develop and implement solutions as needed.
- Communication: Consolidate and align information for key stakeholders, ensuring accurate and relevant updates.
What we are looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in program and project management. Understanding of corporate functions platforms (Finance, HR, Procurement and IT Planning) and systems, plus experience in developing Requests for Proposal would be an added advantage.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, advanced written and verbal communication, and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, AgilePlace, Planview Roadmaps, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams).
- Knowledge: Some knowledge of risk management frameworks, policies, processes and an understanding of Agile Framework and project management principles and practices.
What will make you stand out:
-
Language: Bilingual in both official languages (French and English).
