This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence. You'll play a key role in leading the full-cycle AP function while partnering with Finance leadership to modernize processes, strengthen controls, and support the continued growth of the organization.

What Will You Do?
As the Manager, Accounts Payable, you will oversee the organization's full-cycle AP operations while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities Include
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, payments, expense management, and reconciliations Manage, coach, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team through regular feedback, performance management, and career development Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable, efficient AP workflows and best practices Serve as the subject matter expert for Accounts Payable policies, procedures, systems, and controls Partner with Finance leadership on future ERP or system implementations and process transformation initiatives Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while resolving complex payment and reconciliation issues Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations Develop reporting, KPIs, payment forecasting, and analytics that provide meaningful insights to Finance leadership Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring audit readiness Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and financial performance Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
What Do You Bring?
We're looking for a proven finance leader who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with exceptional leadership and process improvement skills.
Qualifications Include
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
CPA designation (or working toward completion) is considered a strong asset 5-8 years of progressive Accounts Payable or accounting experience Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience Strong expertise in full-cycle Accounts Payable operations Experience leading process improvements, workflow optimization, or ERP/system implementations Excellent knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to present meaningful financial insights Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement Experience within a multi-entity or multi-division organization is considered an asset Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset depending on business needs
