About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Fife CAMH Service. Fife CAMHS is an innovative service providing evidence based therapeutic interventions to children and young people throughout Fife, who experience severe and complex mental health problems.

You will join a well established, multi-disciplinary team with the aim of providing effective and timely assessments and therapeutic interventions. You will be required to manage an individual caseload and be able to assess and deliver a range of therapeutic interventions on an individual, family and group basis for children and young people within Fife. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in a wide variety of hospital and community settings.

Fife CAMHS is committed to the development of its staff group and actively encourages participation in the NES CAMHS development programme as well as bespoke training based on individual and service needs. The service has a robust supervision structure in place and you will be supported by Allied Health Professionals across the service.

Applications are invited from individuals who are passionate about children and young people’s mental health who are qualified and registered Occupational Therapists.

Evidence of continuous professional development is welcomed along with the ability to demonstrate skills and competencies normally associated with 2 years experience in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health setting.

It is essential that you have the ability to travel throughout Fife and respond to the needs of the service.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
