About the role: Reporting to the Manager, People Systems, the Analyst, HRIS is responsible for the optimization and maintenance of the HRIS System. We are seeking a talented and experienced HRIS Analyst with specialized expertise in at least two Core SAP SuccessFactors modules, such as Employee Central, Compensation & Benefits. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our HR processes and systems, ultimately driving organizational efficiency and employee engagement.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Uphold the application of HR policies, practices, and programs through ongoing maintenance and support of Core SAP SuccessFactors modules, including configuration, security authorizations and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and system stability through regular audits and proactive maintenance activities.
- Investigate and troubleshoot data and systems issues, coordinating with end users, Information Technology, and vendors as necessary.
- Utilize SAP SuccessFactors or PowerBI reporting tools and analytics to generate insights and metrics related to HR processes, employee data, and system performance.
- Identify opportunities to leverage HR systems to solve business process challenges.
- Document HRIS processes, procedures, and develop training materials. Provide documentation and/or training to functional units as needed.
- Manage, test and implement module features / functionality for SuccessFactors semi-annual releases.
- Act as a champion of change and provide HR system consulting services to various corporate and site HR functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, Computer Science or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 4 years HR Systems configuration, reporting, training, and testing experience.
- SuccessFactors certification with demonstrated capability preferred.
- SAP Employee Central, Compensation & Benefits experience preferred
- Working experience with Sharepoint, DevOps and ECP Payroll is a plus
- Excel – advanced (Lookup Functions, Pivot Tables, advanced charting and analysis, Macros)
- Power BI
- Microsoft Visio or similar process mapping tools
- Intermediate knowledge of human resources practices.
- Ability to analyze data and apply critical thinking to resolve issues and suggest solutions and improvements.
- Strong planning, project management, and organization skills.
- Customer focused with ability to influence cooperation between vendors, sites, and functions.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and tact. Ability to handle confidential and personal information to ensure compliance with PIPA, PIPEDA, and other regional privacy laws.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
