About the role
The Opportunity
We have an opening for a full-time Technical Sales Specialist that will be responsible for representing product offerings within Polyphase's portfolio consisting of control panel products. In addition, you will be responsible for achieving sales activity goals and fostering relationships with new and existing customers.
The Role

Meet with potential and existing customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.

Uncover hidden needs or problems to drive results
-
Account development; approved AVL and AML
-
Present and demonstrate products or solutions in a way that highlights their technical features and business value

Simplify complex concepts to non-technical buyers
-
Champion the promotion and sale of Control Panel product lines, working closely with sales teams to drive market penetration, customer adoption, and revenue targets
-
Create presentations and technical documents
-
Address technical objections and reassure client on compatibility, performance, or ROI
-
Build confidence that the product will solve the customers problem
-
provide technical training to customers and internal sales team
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, ensuring alignment on product offerings, quality standards, and competitive positioning.

Develop, communicate, and execute the Polyphase Business Unit growth strategy.
The Candidate
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical sales role focused on control panels
-
Strong technical knowledge of various types of control panels
-
Technical diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
-
Working knowledge of CSA Standards (C22.2 No. 286 & 213) and UL Standards (UL 508A, UL 698A, UL 121201)
-
Strong Presentation skills
-
Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills in English is a must
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., MS Excel, and PowerPoint)
-
Experience with Salesforce would be an asset
-
Must be bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
