About the Role:
Reporting
The Parts Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Materials Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring timely parts flow between production facilities, materials handling, and procurement.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Materials teams to ensure the timely supply of materials for production activities.
- Work with stakeholders to review ERP data and assist with material planning for maintenance activities.
- Assist with maintaining optimal inventory levels based on KPIs to support production activities.
- Coordinate procurement priorities and ensure timely follow-up to meet production needs.
- Develop, document, and enforce material handling practices, including reporting and tracking in the ERP system.
- Identify and communicate process and training gaps and potential risks to the Senior Materials Manager and stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations to internal stakeholders to enhance spares and asset management processes supporting Production.
- Ensure all work complies with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs to track material management performance, escalating deviation as required.
- Manage and maintain project and material documentation to support material handling activities.
- Support process improvement initiatives led by the Senior Materials Manager by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
- Provide internal customer services to ensure alignment with Avmax standards of operations.
- Other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- A diploma in business administration or a related field is an asset.
- Knowledge of inventory management and spares coordination practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous ERP systems and reporting experience are considered assets.
Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in material management and material handling.
- Aviation experience in an MRO or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
