The Horizon Christian Program is a nurturing
learning space within D.A. Ferguson Middle School, offering Christian-based

0.62 FTE Temporary Teacher- Grade 7/8 Homeroom Generalist
Assignment includes- Horizon Christian Program /D.A. Ferguson Middle school is currently
seeking a Grade 7/8 teacher for most 7/8 core classes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the
following attributes:
Self-starter
Highly motivated
Creative problem solver
Highly collaborative

Strength in developing meaningful relationships with
all students

Proficiently manages inclusive practices within
diverse classroom settings

Committed to enhancing school climate and culture
through extra-curricular activities

Awareness of the Mennonite Culture would be an asset
This position commences August 20, 2026,
and concludes June 29, 2027.
