The successful candidate will help shape business plans through consumer insight intelligence, competitive analysis and cross functional project management for both the Hyundai and Genesis brands.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Consumer Insights: Provide insights into automotive consumer patterns and trends using market research data. Build and distribute monthly consumer insights reports to inform changes in automotive trends and consumer preferences across the company. Industry Forecasting: Collect and interpret economic and market data, third party forecasts and other relevant information to support the development of long, mid and short-term industry forecasts. Conduct continual market assessments and communicate pertinent insights and recommendations to top management. Strategic Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of Hyundai Auto Canada’s Mid-Term sales plan. Contribute to the development of key business strategies to increase sales, market share and continue to grow revenue. Brand Health and Ad Tracking: Oversee Brand Health and Ad Tracking initiatives, ensuring continuous monitoring and analysis of brand performance and advertisement effectiveness. Provide strategic analysis support to Marketing & CRM teams. Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis: Provide qualitative and quantitative measures of customer acceptance regarding the performance of the company’s products, marketing efforts and brand equity. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, including overseeing Contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Requests (PRs), Purchase Orders, and Invoice processing and payment. Project Management: Oversee day-to-day management of multiple research projects using both primary and secondary sources regarding customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and customer segmentation. Methodology Development: Develop research plans to match business objectives outlining methodology, timing, deliverables and costs. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE Completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education 5+ years of relevant experience in same or similar function with automotive experience being desirable. Research Expertise: Serve as in-house expert on custom research, including all methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis, Consumer Insights Tools: Experience working with consumer insight tools such as mTab, SPSS or similar software and conducting various types of consumer research. Analytical Abilities: Ability to generate analyses, insights, and recommendations to drive business results. Data Integration: Ability to integrate information from a wide variety of sources. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint etc. Statistical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with computer applications related to statistics. Good understanding and demonstrated use of statistical methodologies (e.g. significance testing, factor analysis, regression analysis).Business Partnerships: Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships. Influence and Problem-Solving: Ability to influence others through combination of facts, intuition and common sense. Highly Developed Presentation Skills: Ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations to large and small groups Deadline Management: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of the Canadian automotive marketplace an asset. OTHER DETAILS This posting is for an existing vacancy. Hiring Range: $70,300 - $89,000 The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Starting salary is typically offered in the lower to mid portion of the range, with placement determined by the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
