What We Need:

The Manager, Technology Enablement is a key leadership role within the Digital Health portfolio, responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of end-user IT services across Oak Valley Health. This includes oversight of the Service Desk, Tier 2/3 support, audio/visual (A/V) services, and end-user computing platforms.

This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient access to digital tools and collaboration platforms, enabling a hybrid and remote workforce. The Manager will lead initiatives that enhance user experience, drive operational excellence, and support hospital-wide digital transformation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage a high-performance team of IT service desk and system support professionals.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of end-user computing systems and devices (desktops, laptops, mobile, virtual desktop), across on-premises, cloud and hybrid platforms.
  • Ensure seamless operation and support of A/V systems across clinical and administrative spaces.
  • Transform IT Service Management through implementation and optimization of ITIL-based service management practices such as incident, request, problem, knowledge management, etc.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff and providers on IT systems, tools and digital best practices.
  • Build and execute team development plans focused on technical growth and service excellence.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset, using feedback to drive service enhancements.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to align IT support with operational needs.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for IT support services.
  • Champion automation, self-service tools, and knowledge base development.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Lead teams through change initiatives, fostering a culture of adaptability, innovation and growth.

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT support or client services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience implementing ITIL practices; ITIL Foundation certification required, Intermediate or Expert level preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent in building and nurturing relationships across various departments, and serving as a liaison
  • between technical teams, hospital leadership, and external vendor
  • Strong working knowledge of ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and foster professional growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience designing and delivering user training programs and technical documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive results.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday days.
