We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Software Developer to join our Ottawa team and play a key role in building the future of aviation software. This isn’t just another development role—you’ll act as a Technical Lead, shaping the architecture of enterprise-grade solutions, mentoring fellow engineers, and driving the evolution of our software platforms.

This position is based in our Ottawa, ON office, which is a requirement to ensure collaboration with the broader team.

Must Have

10+ years of full stack development experience, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications using Python and modern frameworks. Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges in high-stakes environments.

5+ years of team leadership, including mentoring developers, driving technical excellence, and aligning efforts to business objectives.

5+ years architecting and deploying microservices using Kubernetes and Docker.

5+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines with Git, enforcing coding standards, and integrating automated testing.

5+ years working with Redis caching in clustered environments to optimize performance.

Nice To Have

2+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

2+ years leveraging AWS cloud services for scalable infrastructure and application deployment.

• Linux email Server experience
• Network and load balancing experience
• Mapping/Tile Server experience
