MAKING AN IMPACT
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Signature Event Operations, the Signature Event Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the logistics and administration of the CIBC Run for the Cure and Relay For Life Youth events nationwide. This dynamic position involves executing essential operational and administrative tasks, managing inventory and order tracking and overseeing the packing and shipping of event materials – all to ensure seamless and impactful events.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:**
1 Executes Administrative and operational strategies and activities for CIBC Run for the Cure
- Coordinate and execute the kitting, shipping and tracking of all event materials sent from central location out to event locations across the country.
- Track invoices and expenses relating to signature event budgets while adhering to financial guidelines and procedures set by CCS
- Supports the administrative tasks associated with event location email addresses
- Facilitates the collection and submission of local event details required to execute critical tactics including website creation, site and rout maps, sponsor activations etc.
- Create and execute an acquisition plan and processes for Multi-site Teams to increase participation and revenue in this business stream
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to maintain a professional and positive working environment with all stakeholders.
- Ensure participant and vendor communications are tracked consistently and accurately within CCS’s CRM.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve department processes that will drive efficiency.

- Support the ordering of event materials from the vendor warehouse to events across the country
- Work in a timely and organized manner to ensure all orders arrive accurately and on time for their event.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to maintain a professional and positive working environment with all stakeholders
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve department processes that will drive efficiency.
- Ensure participant and vendor communications are tracked consistently and accurately within CCS’s CRM.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education such as acquiring a college diploma, as well as specialized technical/professional training and/or certification, or equivalent.
- More than 1 year of practical or job-related experience
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven project management and strong organizational skills are necessary attributes
- Proven ability to accomplish goals and establish priorities with minimal direction.
- Ability to work confidently under pressure, and to the deadlines.
- Proven relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work simultaneously on a variety of complex projects with tight timelines.
- Problem solving and diplomacy skills to resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and maturity in dealing with a variety of constituents.
- Experience in an office environment, multi-level organization and working with colleagues in remote offices is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to make decisions based on guidelines and training without constant supervision.
