Production Associate – ESS Test (3:30pm – 12:00 midnight)
Working as a member of CW’s Production Test team, you will be responsible for setting up and testing a wide variety of complex circuit cards, graphics cards and single board computers with some system level debug.
Location: Ottawa, ON
Salary Range: $48,200 - $64,200 plus 10% shift premium Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Paid Time Off I RRSP with Employer Match I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Competitive Pay I Referral Program I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive Culture * Your Challenge: Set up and perform tests following specific test procedures using automated test equipment Identify non-conforming products Provide feedback on technical issues to Test Engineering Support Suggest process changes and improvements as it relates to your work environment Perform ATPs (Acceptance test procedures) for the various products Perform JTAG testing for the various products Perform ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) Testing for the various products Attend all provided product test training Maintain a safe and orderly work environment Willing to support 3 shift rotations as required Responsible to setup/remove test equipment Complete all logs, reports and other data as defined by Team Lead/Engineer Test products based on the requirements stated in the WIP Tracker What you Bring: Electronic Technician or equivalent post-secondary education with four to six years of work experience in Test / ESS within a manufacturing environment Experience in working with test procedures and supporting documents Experience Testing Products using Electronic Test Equipment such as Graphics Cards, Mother Boards & RTMs Strong technical and computer skills as well as MS office tools Familiar with DOS operating system and Windows environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience in a LEAN manufacturing model would be an asset Experience in using SAP would be an asset Experience Test Products using ESS Chambers Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changes in the build schedule as required Who We Are: At our world-class manufacturing and design facility in Ottawa, Ontario, we manufacture rugged products optimized for high-mix, high quality and small batch sizes typical of military requirements.
