About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in pipeline transaction management to support the implementation of Quorum QPTM. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with commercial, scheduling, operations, accounting, and IT teams to capture requirements, align business processes, and ensure the successful delivery of pipeline nomination, scheduling, and settlement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between pipeline operations, scheduling, commercial, accounting, and technology teams.
- Gather, document, and validate requirements for QPTM modules, including nominations, confirmations, scheduling, imbalance management, invoicing, and reporting.
- Analyze pipeline business processes and identify improvements leveraging QPTM functionality.
- Support system configuration for nominations, contracts, tariffs, capacity release, and scheduling processes.
- Create future-state process flows, use cases, and functional inputs to guide solution design.
- Develop and document SIT/UAT scenarios based on the functional design.
- Coordinate and support testing activities (SIT, UAT) and resolve issues across trade-to-cash workflows.
- Assist with the conversion of legacy master data into QPTM modules.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, training, and stakeholder sessions.
- Provide go-live and post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and recommending system enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in natural gas pipeline, midstream, or energy transportation systems.
- Strong knowledge of Quorum QPTM (Pipeline Transaction Management) or similar pipeline scheduling/transaction management platforms.
- Understanding of pipeline processes: nominations, confirmations, scheduling, imbalance management, invoicing/settlements, and capacity management.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and operational accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach with strong facilitation skills.
